Cho Sung-woo In Concerto
Colonne Sonore
Live Concert with the Florence Pops Orchestra

Cho Sung-woo is one of the most refined and recognizable composers in Korean cinema and television.
The author of soundtracks that seamlessly blend lyricism, tension, and narrative elegance, he has written unforgettable scores for films such as Christmas in August, April Snow, The Last Princess, and The Duelist, as well as more recent works including Forbidden Dream, A Normal Family, and Dirty Money.
At the same time, his intense and deeply emotional style has also left a mark on the world of television dramas, including Tomorrow, Maestra: Strings of Truth, and Lost.
His musical writing stands out for its profound melodic sensitivity and refined orchestration, capable of supporting the image without ever overpowering it, instead amplifying its most intimate emotions. His compositions tell stories of love, memory, conflict, and hope, creating a lasting bond between music and visual storytelling.
On March 28, 2026, at Cinema La Compagnia, his music will come to life in concert through a collaboration with the Florence Pops Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Carlo Chiarotti: a sonic journey spanning more than twenty years of his career, featuring great cinematic themes and melodies that have moved audiences around the world. A unique opportunity to experience live the musical voice of one of today’s masters of film scoring, in a special encounter between cinema, orchestra, and audience.
