Vi siete mai chiesti come nasce la musica per un c Vi siete mai chiesti come nasce la musica per un cartone animato? Ebbene, questa sarà l’occasione per scoprirlo... 🎶 Sono contentissimo di comunicare che il progetto interrotto dalla pandemia vedrà finalmente la luce nei primi mesi del 2025! 🎶 Sarà un evento ibrido tra un workshop e un concerto, dove un’intera orchestra parteciperà passo passo alla creazione di una colonna sonora per un cartone animato. Come compositore alla guida della Florence Pops Orchestra, illustrerò i vari passaggi che portano alla realizzazione di una colonna sonora. Vi mostrerò le decisioni che determinano il mood e i temi da utilizzare, quale strumentazione è più adatta per una particolare scena e cosa vogliamo comunicare in un determinato momento. Tutta la parte nascosta del lavoro del compositore per cartoni animati sarà spiegata e suonata dal vivo. 🎵 Yujo, Wish, Crash Casanova, Hello Maggie, Devil Lu e tanti altri saranno ri-composte e suonate dall’orchestra, in una serata indimenticabile. Con le loro diverse atmosfere ci immergeremo nelle particolarità che ne determinano la loro unicità. Presented in world premiere at CTN Expo in Los Angeles A heartfelt duet capturing the warm, nostalgic spirit of the short film and its characters. 💖 A song dedicated to Tony Benedict, with gratitude and admiration.
“This piece accompanies the animated cartoon Hello Maggie! by Willie Ito. The lyrics are taken from an original poem written in 1942 by Shisei Tsuneushi, one of the camp’s internees. The video also features the musicians who performed the song. The original music is by Carlo Chiarotti, and it is sung in Japanese by Yui Horio. Traditional ethnic instruments, including the shakuhachi and the erhu, are also featured in the piece.”
The award-winning Korean composer Mowg performs with the Florence Pops Orchestra during the festival. This piece is from the film Masquerade.
